Product data: Purchase details, warranty information, receipts, and product ownership records you voluntarily add to your vault.

User content: Reviews, complaints, community posts, and comments you submit.

Usage data: Basic analytics about how you interact with the Platform (pages visited, features used).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform; display your reviews and contributions; generate product rankings; send notifications you've opted into; and ensure Platform integrity.

3. What We Don't Do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your vault contents (purchase history, warranty details, receipts) with brands or third parties. Your product ownership data is yours.

4. Public Information

Reviews, complaints, community posts, and your display name are publicly visible. Your email, vault contents, and purchase details are private and never shared publicly.

5. Brand Access

Verified brands can see and respond to public complaints and reviews. They cannot access your personal information, vault data, or purchase history. Brand responses are public and clearly labeled.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage with row-level security policies. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You can: access and download your data; update or correct your information; delete your account and associated data; opt out of non-essential notifications. To exercise these rights, visit your account settings or contact us.

9. Data Deletion

When you delete your account, your personal data is removed. Public contributions (reviews, posts) may be anonymized and retained to preserve Platform integrity.

10. Children's Privacy

HastenWeb is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email or Platform notification.
