1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HastenWeb ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
HastenWeb is a consumer-first product ownership platform that allows users to track purchases, manage warranties, leave verified reviews, file complaints, compare products, and participate in community discussions.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years of age to use this service.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, complaints, posts). By submitting content, you grant HastenWeb a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use that content on the Platform. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine product ownership. Fraudulent or misleading content may be removed.
5. Verified Reviews
Reviews on HastenWeb are tied to verified product ownership. Users may only review products they own in their vault. One review per product per user is permitted. Review history and edits are tracked transparently.
6. Brand Accounts
Brands may register for verified accounts to respond to complaints and engage with consumers. Brand responses are clearly labeled. Brands cannot modify, remove, or influence user reviews or rankings.
7. Rankings
Product rankings are generated algorithmically based on community data. Rankings cannot be purchased or influenced by brands. The methodology is proprietary to ensure integrity.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: submit false or misleading reviews; manipulate rankings or upvotes; impersonate others; use automated systems to scrape or interact with the Platform; harass other users; or violate any applicable laws.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. HastenWeb does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted content. Product information and rankings are for informational purposes only.
11. Limitation of Liability
HastenWeb shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
